Lost Like Robinson

Lost Like Robinson

“Lost Like Robinson” is an original song about the loneliness of losing someone you still love and the hope that somehow they might find their way back to you.

I wrote this song around the image of being stranded like Robinson Crusoe, surrounded by memories and sending signals into the distance, hoping someone is still watching.

The lyrics turn heartbreak into an emotional island, where old photographs become sunrises, miles feel like oceans, and every wave brings the past back to shore.

At its heart, it’s a song about refusing to give up on a love that still feels worth saving, even when you’re not sure anyone can hear you calling.

If you’ve ever felt lost without someone or kept a light burning for a love you couldn’t quite let go,

I hope this song speaks to you. I’d love to hear what “Lost Like Robinson” means to you in the comments.

Thank you for listening and supporting my music.

Lost Like Robinson

City lights are blinking like stars I cannot read
I’m walking through the noise, but it’s quiet underneath
Your name is on my phone, but I don’t know what to say
Every road I take keeps turning back your way

I had a map, I had a plan
I had forever in my hands
Now every mile feels like an ocean in between

And I’ve been sending up signals
Lighting fires in the rain
Hoping you can see me
Calling out your name

I’m lost like Robinson
Stranded where your love has gone
Talking to the moon at night
Trying to keep a spark alive

I’m lost like Robinson
Waiting for the tide to come
If your heart can hear this song
Come and find me before I’m gone
I’m lost like Robinson
Lost like Robinson

I made a little shelter out of memories and dreams
But every little thing I build keeps falling at the seams
Your picture is a sunrise that I still wake up to chase
But paradise is empty when I can’t see your face

I tried to be strong, tried to be fine
Tried to leave the past behind
But every wave keeps bringing you back to me

So I’m sending up signals
Lighting fires in the rain
Hoping you remember
How we used to say

I’m lost like Robinson
Stranded where your love has gone
Talking to the moon at night
Trying to keep a spark alive

I’m lost like Robinson
Waiting for the tide to come
If your heart can hear this song
Come and find me before I’m gone
I’m lost like Robinson
Lost like Robinson

Maybe I’m a fool on an island
Maybe I should learn to let go
But I still see a sail on the skyline
And I still believe you know

Where I am
Who I was
What we had
What it was
I’m not done
I’m not done

[Final Chorus]
I’m lost like Robinson
Stranded where your love has gone
Shouting through the lonely night
Still trying to keep us alive

I’m lost like Robinson
Waiting for the tide to come
If your heart can hear this song
Come and find me before I’m gone

I’m lost like Robinson
Lost like Robinson
I’m lost like Robinson
Come and find me before I’m gone
