Come to Me

 Come to Me

“Come to Me” is an original song about laying down the weight you were never meant to carry alone.

I wrote this song for anyone who feels worn out from trying to be strong, searching for answers, or holding everything together in silence.

The lyrics reflect a gentle invitation to stop striving, to listen for the quiet voice of grace, and to find rest in God’s presence just as you are.

It’s a reminder that mercy meets us where we stand, that nothing needs to be earned, and that true peace is found when we finally let go and come to Him.

If this song speaks to your heart, I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.

Thank you for listening and supporting the music.

Matthew 11:28: "Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

Come to Me

Long day, heavy heart,
Carrying more than I can hold
Every step feels like a fight
Every prayer feels a little old
I’ve been strong for too long
Trying to do this on my own

Then I hear You call my name
Not in thunder, not in flame
Just a whisper breaking through
Saying I’m here, I see you

Come to Me, if you’re weary
If the weight won’t let you breathe
Lay it down, don’t be afraid
I will give you rest
Come to Me, all who are broken
All who’ve been giving their best
In My arms you will find
Peace for your soul, you can rest

I’ve been running without hope
Chasing answers in the dark
Every road I tried to walk
Led me further from my heart
But Your mercy meets me here
Right where I am, just as I am

No conditions, no demands
Just Your nail-scarred open hands
Every fear I try to hide
Falls away when You say, “Mine”

Come to Me, if you’re weary
If the weight won’t let you breathe
Lay it down, don’t be afraid
I will give you rest
Come to Me, all who are broken
All who’ve been giving their best
In My arms you will find
Peace for your soul, you can rest

You don’t ask me to be strong
You don’t say I have to earn it
All You want is just my heart
And a trust that I’m learning
I let go, You pull me close
And I finally stop hurting

Come to Me
I hear You calling me
Come to Me
You’re all I need

Come to Me, if you’re weary
If the weight won’t let you breathe
Lay it down, don’t be afraid
I will give you rest
Come to Me, all who are broken
All who’ve been giving their best
In My arms you will find
Peace for your soul, you can rest

I came to You, Lord, just like You said
And I found my rest
